Nirmala Sitharaman is an Indian politician and senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), she is currently the Finance Minister of India. She was born on 18 August 1959 in Tamil Nadu. Nirmala Sitharaman is a member of the Upper House of the Indian Parliament and the Rajya Sabha, before which she represented Andhra Pradesh from 2014 to 2016.
